Paul Agnew Copeland

Paul Agnew Copeland, 57, of Conneaut Lake, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at his residence following an unexpected illness.

He was born in Meadville September 28, 1948, a son of the late Robert S. and Alice Agnew Copeland, Sr.  He had been married to Bette Jo Powell.

He was a 1967 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and was a graduate of a heavy equipment operator trade school.  He worked in maintenance at Molded Fiber Glass from 1978 to 1995.  He also worked for over 20 years at Virgil Kean's Garage, Conneaut Lake and was self-employed assisting  his children's business C&M Landscaping, with odd jobs and running errands.  He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and brother.

He was a member of Carmel Baptist Church, Moisertown and was a church usher.

Survivors include a son, Richard Paul "Rick" Copeland (Doris) of Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Rachel L. Niemann of Conneaut Lake; two sisters, Lucilla (Lucy) Pisani (Vincent) of Conneaut Lake and Suzanne Laird (James) of Hartstown; two brothers, Robert "Sam" Copeland, Jr. (Robin) of Conneaut Lake and Timothy A. Copeland (Maria) of Conneaut Lake; four grandchildren, Cassidy and Carleigh Copeland and Derek and Tanner Niemann; an uncle, William A. Agnew of Conneautville; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sibling.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
