Virginia J. Kline

Virginia J. Kline, 81, of Meadville, died Thursday, October 9, 1997 at Wesbury United Methodist Community following a brief illness.

She was born in Saegertown, September 16, 1916, a daughter of the late John and Gertrude Bossard Jannot.  She had been married to Samuel Kline who preceded her in death in 1967.

She retired in 1978 from Talon as a slide inspector at Plant #7 after 40 years of service.  She was an active member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ and its Women's Fellowship, a graduate of Meadville High School and she had a special love for her great-great niece, Amber Leasure.

Survivors include two sisters, Maxine Woge and Twila Westfall, both of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a half brother, Paul Gromoll.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
