A. Glenn M'Cartney

A. Glenn M'Cartney, 70, of Meadville, died Wednesday, October 31, 1962, at Spencer Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born at Tyrell, OH, May 25, 1892, a son of James and Harriet A. Vinton M'Cartney.  He married Frances McCadden January 18, 1917.  He was a retired Erie Railroad Co. locomotive engineer, having served the line for more than 50 years.

Mr. M'Cartney was a member of Grace Methodist Church, Cussewago Odd Fellows Lodge, Olympus Encampment, Meadville Canton of Patriarchs Millitant, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Surviving, besides his widow, are a sister, Mrs. Walter Clark of Brookfield, OH and a brother, John C. M'Cartney.

A daughter, Mrs. G. Wilbur (Loris) Gage of Meadville died August 27, 1962.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
