A. Grace Styer, 88, a resident of Meadville Care Center, formerly of Meadville, a former school teacher, died Wednesday, August 26, 1992, at the care center following a period of declining health.
She was born in Fairfield Township, November 29, 1903, a daughter of Conrad and Tamar Woodling Rohleder. She married Henry E. Styer, June 1, 1926. He preceded her in death November 7, 1983.
A graduate of Hadley High School and Slippery Rock State Normal School, she attended Edinboro State Normal School. She taught school for two years at Rung School, Union Township. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Dewey Styer of Meadville; a brother, Ernest W. Rohleder of Meadville; two granddaughters and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Huber Cemetery.
