Ada Appleyard Swisher

Mrs. Ada Appleyard Swisher, 82, of Meadville, widow of Rev. Lloyd L. Swisher, former superintendent of the Meadville District of the Erie Conference of the Methodist Church, died Friday morning at Meadville City Hospital after a long illness.

As the wife of Rev. Mr. Swisher, she helped serve the Methodist church in pastorates of the Erie Conference at Greenville, First Church at Warren and Simpson Church at Erie.

Surviving are several cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Jamestown, NY.
