Ada I, Coon

Mrs. Ada I. Coon, 83, of Meadville, died Tuesday, August 15, 1967, at City Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks, after being in poor health for several years.

Mrs. Coon was born in East Mead Township on August 2, 1884, a daughter of Ernest and Adella Hamilton Karlskind.  Mrs. Coon married Jerome Coon in August of 1919.  He died in 1928.

Mrs. Coon was a member of the First Baptist Church, its New Loyal Sunday School class and the Naomi Circle Church Missionary Society.

Surviving are a sister, Elsie, wife of the Rev. Malcom Palmer of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Edward and Herman, died previously.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
