Alex J. Dubowski

Alex J. Dubowski, 77, of Meadville, died Saturday, October 9, 1993, at Meadville Medical Center, following a sudden illnesss.
He was born April 17, 1916, in Meadville, a son of Alex J. and Mary Dubowski. He married Josephine Cummings in October 1942.
He retired from Avtex as a spinner in 1983 after 34 years service. He was a member of the Vernon Grange and Vernon Volunteer Fire Department, and a veteran of the US Army, serving during World War II.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Thomas Dubowski of Lakewood, OH and Lawrence Dubowski of Meadville; two grandchildren and a niece and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
