Alice B. Ortman

Alice B. Ortman, 88, of Meadville, died at Wesbury United Methodist Community Friday, April 27, 1990, after a period of failing health.
She was born in Vernon Township, Crawford County, May 11, 1901, a daughter of Albert M. and Mary Elizabeth Curry Flaugh. She married Charles H. Ortman, December 17, 1920. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1969.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She belonged to the Friendly Sisters Sunday School teacher. She was a member of Col. Crawford Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution; Golden Crown Chapter of the Eastern Star, Meadville Women's Club and Rota Literary Club.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth M. Ortman of Meadville; two granddaughters; three grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley O'Nan.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
