Alice J. Wright

Alice J. Wright, 71, of Meadville, died Tuesday, May 20, 1997 at Meadville Health and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born December 27, 1925 in Hydetown, a daughter of the late Howard and Mildred Fonner Martin.  She married Charles A. Wright, Jr., December 20, 1946.  He preceded her in death January 6, 1997.

Mrs. Wright was a graduate of Jamestown High School.  She was a homemaker and former member of Wayland Ladies Aid Society.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She was a member of Westford Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Karen Burns of Greenville; two sons, Craig Wright of Meadville and William Wright of Omaha, NE; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Moore of Jamestown and Mrs. Phyllis Hughes of Mesa, AZ; one brother, John Martin of Andover, OH and seven grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
