Alice R. Elliot

Alice R. Elliot, 83, of Guys Mills, died Saturday, June 15, 1996 at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.

She was born in Corapolis, PA, on July 17, 1912, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Dunmire Rome.  She married Wayne M. Elliot December 9, 1933.  He preceded her in death May 14, 1994.

She worked as a secretary at Gulf Research of Harmarville for twenty years, retiring in 1971.  Previously, she had worked also as a secretary at Columbia Gas for sixteen years.  She was a member of St. Hippolyte RC Church.

Survivors include a sister, Delphine E. Gould of Maysville, KY; a brother, Charles Rome of Windham, OH and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother, John Rome.

Interment was in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville, PA.
