Alvin (Al) Creed Davis, age 84, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Frederick, Maryland surrounded by loved ones.

He was born in Hartford, TN on May 24, 1941, to the late Burnett & Pearl (Black) Davis.

Al was loved by all who knew him and he loved to keep them entertained. His sense of humor will never be forgotten, nor will many of his jokes.

He had many careers throughout his life but his most cherished was being an at home Dad. He was dedicated to his family, and he always made sure they were taken care of.

Al is survived by his wife Vicki Leap, daughter Maggie (Davis) Kalmbach and her husband Sam, two sons Scott Davis and Brian Davis, and granddaughter Jessica Davis. A sister, Joan Davis Jenkins, and two brothers, Judd and Pat.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Ed, Bobby, and Terry.

A Memorial Mass will be held on January 31, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth Street, Conneaut Lake PA, with Father David Carter as celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE ROAD, CONNEAUT LAKE, PA.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Frederick Health Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, Maryland 21701 or at www.frederickhealthhospice.org.
