Amelia Miller Gross, 92, of Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville, died Wednesday, November 6, 1996 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born August 17, 1904 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Bauer) Miller. She married John Gross. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Mrs. Gross worked at Talon for 25 years retiring as a production worker. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
Survivors include one sister, Arvella Miller of Conneaut Lake; two brothers, Ralph Miller of Meadville and Howard Miller of Conneaut Lake; and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Gross; four sisters, Clara Hogue, Marie Schultz, Laverna Maloney and Edna Simmons; and five brothers, John, Albert, Elmer, Carl and Harry Miller.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
