Amy R. Warp

Mrs. Amy R. Warp, 82, formerly of Wayne Township, Guys Mills, widow of Celyn F. Warp, died after a long illness Thursday, June 2, 1983, at Crawford County Home, Saegertown, where she had been a resident since 1969.

Mrs. Warp was born in Wayne Township, August 21, 1900, daughter of John A. and Jane Storey Custead.  She married Mr. Warp, May 4, 1922.  He died March 24, 1975.

Mrs. Warp worked for several years at the former American Viscose, now Avtex Fibers Corp.  She was a member of United Church of Guys Mills.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank (June) Woolstrum of Cooperstown and Mrs. Richard (Janice) Cutshall of Meadville; a son, George E. Warp of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. S. E. (Alice) James of Saegertown; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, three brothers and one grandson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
