Mrs. Amy Wilder Michael, 51, teacher in western PA public schools for 30 years, died at Meadville City Hospital yesterday afternoon.
Mrs. Michael suffered a fall in her home in Sunville, five miles west of Titusville, about two weeks ago. She was hospitalized here soon thereafter as a result of a broken back. At the time of her death, she was assistant principle of the Sunville Consolidated Schools.
Graduated from Edinboro State Teachers' College in the 1912 class. Mrs. Michael taught in a number of schools in the district, including Blooming Valley, Centerville and Beaver Falls. She accepted the Sunville position seven years ago.
Lone survivor is one son, Wilder Michael of Saegertown.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Radle Cemetery, Randolph Township.
