Ann E. Watson, 56, of Hereford, PA and formerly of the Meadville area, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born December 4, 1945 in Meadville, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Ruby Johnston Eells.  She married William James (Jim) Watson September 15, 1964 and he survives.

She was a 1963 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Austintown, OH and attended Youngstown State University.  She was a homemaker and also held various accounting positions over the years.  She was a member of the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra playing trumpet while attending YSU.  She loved horses, horseback riding, and was a talented musician.

She was a former member of Ohltown United Methodist Church, Austintown.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 37 years, include 2 sons, Beau Watson and his wife Cheri of Austintown, OH and Joseph A. Watson of Salem, OH; 2 daughters, Cynthia A. Mitchell and her husband Jon of Hanoverton, OH and Dawn M. Woolfrom and her husband Dale of Massillon, OH; 4 grandchildren, Andrew J., Travis J., and Jennifer N. Watson, and William J. Woolfrom; and a sister, Bonnie Sutton and her husband Mark of Whitehouse, OH.

Calling hours will be today (Friday) from 7 to 9 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake.

A funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Shaffer, family friend officiating.

Burial will be in Faust Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
