Anna Bachiak, 103, of Meadville, died Wednesday, January 20, 1988, at her home.
Mrs. Bachiak was born in Praha, Czechoslovakia, December 20, 1884, a daughter of Michael and Anna Hanko Baciak. She married Michael Bachiak, who preceded her in death in 1944.
She was a housewife. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ; R.L. Green Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Titusville; Gold Star Mothers; Hayfield Grange; Myrtle Rebekah Lodge; Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary; and American Legion Auxiliary. She was social member of West Mead 1 VFD.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George (Viola) Boyd of Meadville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four daughters, Anna Lindsay, Mary Bachiak, Josephine Bachiak and Helen Warp; and two sons, Michael Bachiak, Jr. and Aurel Bachiak.
Services were held at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
