Anna G. Hunter

Anna G. Hunter, 93, of Meadville, and a patient at Wesbury United Methodist Community since May 12, 1998, died there Tuesday, May 26, 1998 following a period of declining health.

She was born January 17, 1905 in Union Township, Crawford County, a daughter of the late Adam and Emma Hogue Swavey.  She married Datus W. Hunter, June 19, 1923.  He preceded her in death June 13, 1994.

Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Evangeline) Fitzsimmons of Meadville; a son, Mr. Walter Hunter of Meadville; a sister, Mary Rouchey of Saegertown; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Merle Hunter; one daughter, Viola Anthony; two grandchildren, David and Gary Fitzsimmons; one sister, Lena Griner; and five brothers, Harry, Roy, George, John and Frank Swavey.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
