Anna Jones Gordon

Anna Jones Gordon, 72, wife of Clarence E. Gordon, of Randolph Township, died Friday evening at Spencer Hospital after a long illness.

Daughter of James T. and Saloma Glenn Jones, she spent her life in the Guys Mills area except for several years at Ripley, NY.  She was a member of the Townville Methodist Church and Randolph Grange.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Harold Thompson of Ripley, NY and Mrs. Albert Vatter of Meadville; five sons, Paul Gordon of Coudersport, Clifford of Ripley, Howard, Clarence, Jr., and Philo Gordon, all of Guys Mills; fifteen grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Theodore Mumford of Fredonia, NY; and three brothers, Homer Jones of Corry, Arnold and Lawrence Jones of Guys Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held with the Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Townville.
