Anna Kosik

Anna Kosik, 90, of Townville, and formerly of Sheakleyville, died Saturday, February 27, 1988, at Titusville Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Tuchow, Poland, on March 7, 1897, a daughter of John and Mary Piepsryczka Kubik.  She married George Kosik, who preceded her in death in 1960.

She was a member of St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Church, Stoneboro.  She was a member of the National Assn. of Polish Women.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frances Wiell of New Fairfield, CT; two sons, John Kosik of Blooming Valley and Joseph Kosik of Townville; several nieces and nephews in Poland; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Helen Naumuk.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stoneboro.
