Anna O. Hunter

Anna O. Hunter, 94, of Meadville, a Guys Mills native and a former resident of Cleveland and Saegertown, widow of Clifford R. Hnuter, died Sunday, June 10, 1984, at North Park Manor, where she had been a patient for two months.

She was born in Randolph Township, December 24, 1889, a daughter of Almond and Ocilla Work Cooper.  Her husband died in 1955.

Mrs. Hunter had been a member of the former Congregational Church of Guys Mills and served as secretary-treasurer of the church for many years.  She was secretary of Union Cemetery Assn. for many years and was a 25-year member of the Aux. of Rural Mail Carriers Assn.

She is survived by two sons, H. Clare Hunter of Saegertown and David R. Hunter of Middleburg Heights, OH; five granchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
