Anna Stainbrook

Mrs. Anna Stainbrook, 87, of Meadville, died Saturday, March 18, 1972, at City Hospital after a long illness.  She had been a patient at Mead Nursing Home for two years.

She was born in Crawford County March 20, 1884, a daughter of Robert B. and Anna Pardee Allen.  She married Roy Stainbrook in 1904.  He died in 1952.  They operated a farm in the Pettis area for many years.  Mrs. Stainbrook was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and was an honorary member of its Women's Society of Christian Service.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Florence Carlson of Sanford, FL, Mrs. Mae Cooper of Columbus, OH and Mrs. Willis E. (Betty) Vogan of Cochranton; a son, Lee of Franklin; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

A son, Frank, died in 1965.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
