Mrs. Annabelle D. Hughes, 73, formerly of Meadville, died Monday, July 4, 1977, after a long illness at the Medi-Center, Erie, where she had been a patient since last March.
Born in Richmond Township, November 10, 1903, she was a daughter of Charles L. and Anna B. Skelton Dodge. She was the widow of Robert W. Hughes who died in 1964. Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nicholas (Janet) Archetko of Rochester, NY; two sons, Robert W. Hughes of Erie and James A. Hughes of Saegertown; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Byham of Meadville; a step-brother, Bernard Cox of Meadville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
