Annie E. Dupont

Annie E. DuPont, 96, of Meadville, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.
She was born February 9, 1904, in Wayne Township, Crawford County, a daughter of George and Ermina Hanks Armburger. She married Howard DuPont June 8, 1927 and he survives.
She was a graduate of Randolph High School, Guys Mills and Edinboro State Normal School. She had taught school in a one-room school in Wayne Township for several years and had been employed at Talon for 13 years.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and its Friendship Woman's Circle and a member of the Do-It-Yourseld-Club.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 72 years, include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Clyde Armburger.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
