Arantha A. Reed
March 25, 1859 — April 24, 1958
Mrs. Arantha A. Reed, 99, died Thursday, April 24, 1958, at Meadville Home for the Aged, where she had lived for 13 years. She was the widow of Charles Reed.
She was born in Clarion County, March 25, 1859, a daughter of Nicolas and Ann Eliza Dicel Culmer.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Scotch Hill, Clarion County.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Reed of Denver, CO; a son, A. Clyde Reed of Erie; a brother, Clyde Culmer of Tylersburg; eleven grandchildren, including Mrs. Leona Casler of Guys Mills and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
