Arthur M. Simpson

Arthur M. Simpson, 84, formerly of Meadville, residing at the Crawford County Care Center since September 1993, died there Wednesday, November 23, 1994, after a period of declining health.
He was born March 13, 1910, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Harry and Louise (Sample) Simpson. He married Virginia M. Whitman February 17, 1934. She died September 15, 1987.
He retired as a tool and die maker at Talon, Inc. after 40 years service. He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church as well as a member of Masonic Lodge #408.
Survivors include three daughters, Polly Shilling of Charleston, SC, Mrs. Joseph (Susanne) Jamison of Reynoldsburg, OH and Mrs. Robert (Katherine) Hill of Meadville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
