Augustus D. Rushlander

Augustus D. Rushlander, 86, died Wednesday morning at the Smith Institute after a long illness.

A son of Augustus and Virginia Verain Rushlander, he spent most of his life in the Blooming Valley area where he operated a farm for many years.

He was a member of Blooming Valley Methodist Church and Blooming Valley Grange.

Survivors include three sons and a daughter, Grandin A. of Pittsburgh, and Miss Evelyn, Donald O. and John Charles, all of Blooming Valley; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Shartle and Mrs. Adelaide Vernier, both of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
