Beatrice I. Bode
May 9, 1904 — April 6, 1989
Beatrice I. Bode, 84, of Rolling Fields Nursing Home, Conneautville, formerly of Meadville, died Thursday, April 6, 1989, at the nursing home following a period of failing health.
She was born in Pittsburgh, May 9, 1904, a daughter of Christopher and Beatrice Price Bode. She married Robert Bode. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Along with her husband, she was the owner and operator of the Venango Hotel and Bob & Bea's Tavern, Route 19.
Survivors include a son, William A. Bode of Meadville; a sister, Dorothy Sefer, Panama City, FL; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
