Bernice E. Christy

Mrs. Roy E. Christy, 62, of Jamestown House, Golfview Manor, formerly of Ford City, died at Spencer Hospital early Friday morning, October 17, 1975, after a long illness.

She was born in Tyler, Clearfield County, on September 2, 1913, a daughter of Fred and Elizabeth McKay Smart.  She married Mr. Christy was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Candy Gladzsiewski of Ford City and Mrs. Franklin (Ila) Krzycki of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Helen Greenawalt of Natrona Heights; and two grandchildren, Gregory and Crystal Lynn Gladsiewski.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Ford City Cemetery.
