Bernice H. Nicklas

Bernice H. Nicklas, 87, of Conneaut Lake and formerly of Harmony, died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Harmony October 6, 1920, a daughter of the late John E. and Josephine Shantz Heberling.  She married Joseph Carl Nicklas June 18, 1938 and he preceded her in death August 3, 1984.

Bernice was a homemaker and caregiver.  She was a member of Fifth Street Presbyterian Church, Conneaut Lake and was a former member of the Grace Reformed Church, Harmony.

Survivors include a son, John Nicklas (Susan) of Conneaut Lake; a grandson, Scott Nicklas (Lynn) of Englewood, FL and cousins.

Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment was in Harmony Cemetery.
