Bert Waid

Bert Waid, 64, a well known resident of the Blooming Valley community, died at Meadville City Hospital early Friday morning, where he had been a patient two days.

He had lived in Blooming Valley his entire life and was a justice of the peace, as well as secretary of the borough council.

He is survived by his widow, and by his mother, Mrs. Mary Waid and a sister, Mrs. Forrest Smith, both of Woodcock Township.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
