Bessie M. Bantz

Bessie M. Bantz, 95, of Meadville, died Friday, November 3, 1989, at Meadville Medical Center, after a short illness.
She was born in Western Port, MD on November 26, 1893, a daughter of John and Delilah Buckelew Linkswiler. She married Lester B. Bantz on July 7, 1914, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James (Evelyn) Barber of Dayton, OH, Mrs. Hugh (Dorothy) Goodwill of Meadville and Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Kohler of Meadville; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two sons, Paul L. and John V. Bantz; one brother, John; one sister, Katherine; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Services were held at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Ziegler, pastor of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, officiating.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
