Beth Anna Owens-Chappel

Beth Anna Owens-Chappel, age 76, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2026, in her residence.

She was born on December 7, 1949, the daughter of Charles Owens and Mary Wright- Owens.

She was a 1968 graduate of Meadville High School and lived in Cleveland for a time. Returning to Meadville, she worked in the clerical department for Saegertown Bottling and later at Meadville Forging and recently served as an Auditor for West Mead Township.

Beth enjoyed her years of participation in Beta Sigma Phi social/service sorority. She was a blood donor, an avid reader, and she put her studies with Master Gardener to work making her yard into a thing of beauty and a distribution center for the neighborhood birds and deer.

She is survived by her bother Thomas Owens (Patty Ganyard) of IL; a sister Linda Owens-Peelman (William) of Meadville; many cousins, nieces, a nephew, and a great nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mary Alice Owens-Recupero.
