Blanche L. Stephenson

Blanche L. Stephenson, 86, widow of Ellis H. Stephenson of Meadville, formerly of Springfield, IL and Oak Park, IL, died Friday, May 23, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center following serveral years of failing health.

Mrs. Stephenson was born in Roanoke, IN, July 2, 1899, a daughter of William J. and Martha Rhoades McKinley.  She married Mr. Stephenson, December 10, 1922.  He preceded her in death January 15, 1982.

She had worked at Wayne Knitting Mill, Fort Wayne, IN.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Gloria) Shelhamer of Oak Park, IL; one son, Richard K. Stephenson of Meadville; one sister, Mrs. Marie Johnson of TeJunga, CA; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Embelm Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL.
