Calvin B. Evans
June 7, 1909 — March 28, 1985
Calvin B. Evans, 75, of Meadville, died at Ashtabula County Medical Center Thursday, March 28, 1985, following a period of failing health.
He was born at Pittsburgh, June 7, 1909, a son of Daniel and Sara McCurry Evans. He married Susannah McConnell, who died February 16, 1985.
He was the former owner of the Evans Paper Co., St. Petersburg, FL. He attended the First Christian Church. He was a graduate of Sandy Lake Public Schools and attended West Virginia University.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Judith) Sanders of Seminole, FL; a son, Barry Evans of Maplewood, Minn.; a stepson, Brian McConnell of Philadelphia; two sisters; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
