Carl G. Twilla, 78, of Carlton, PA passed away on May 25, 2026 at home. He was born on January 9, 1948 in Dyersburg Tennessee to parents Carl and Caroline Twilla.

Carl served in the Army in Vietnam from 1968 until 1971, receiving 2 purple hearts for his sacrifices, and went on to work for GSA as an industrial operations analyst. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, PA.

Carl loved gardening, bike rides, and bird watching, especially around his bird feeders. He also loved diving and swimming. One of his favorite things was visiting his brother Richard in Las Vegas, and family was the most important thing in the world to him.

Carl is survived by four children, Michael (Audrey) Twilla, Dan (Julie) Twilla, Bret Twilla, and Alicia Twilla; three grandchildren, Emily Twilla, Tyler Twilla, and Caroline Twilla; and two brothers, Richard Twilla and Michael Twilla.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Twilla and both of his parents.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND BLACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro where visitation will take place on Monday June 1, 2026 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm with Barry Jenkins officiating. Burial and military honors will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery in Sandy Lake.
