Carl W. Mook
October 13, 1905 — August 25, 1985
Carl W. Mook, 79, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Sunday, August 25, 1985, following a lingering illness.
He was born at Cochranton October 13, 1905, a son of Charles and Nancy Wheeling Mook. He married Virginia Gable May 17, 1935. She preceded him in death February 14, 1985.
Mr. Mook was retired from Meadville Malleable Steel Works after serving 22 years and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Delores) Chismar of Meadville; a sister, Verna Tanner of Cleveland; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Melvin.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
