Carolyn A. Urquhart

Carolyn Urquhart, age 79, of Meadville, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Meadville on June 12, 1946, the daughter of Malcolm and Harriet (Braymer) Davis.

She married Howard Urquhart on November 25, 1978, who preceded her in death on January 15, 2008.

She was a 1964 graduate of Meadville High School. In her youth, she worked at Active Aging and Allegheny College, traveled throughout the United States, and had lived in New York, California, Utah, Minnesota, and Maryland.

She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, painting, and was an avid reader. Her greatest pride and joy in life was her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her two children, Johnathan Urquhart of St. Petersburg, FL, and Jennifer May of McDonald, PA; a brother, Dennis Davis of Easton, PA; four grandchildren, Nickolas May, Samantha May, Vanessa May, and Zachary May; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST, MEADVILLE.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
