Carrie A. Bower
May 28, 1888 — November 2, 1972
Carrie A. Bower, 84, of Hillside Home, died at the home Thursday, November 2, 1972, after a long illness.
She was born in Venango County May 28, 1888, a daughter of John R. and Alice Lepley Freeman. She married Frederick J. Bower in 1908. She was a member of the staff of Hillside Home for 15 years and was affiliated with St. Paul's United Church of Chirst. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. C. V. (Ann) Miller of Franklin, Mrs. M. Pauline Patton of Sarasota, FL and Mrs. Alice Kunselman of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. William (Gertie) Baker of Franklin and Mrs. Sadie Graham of Franklin; a brother, Ralph Freeman of Erie; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
