Charlotte Ewing Ash

Mrs. Charlotte Ewing Ash, 86, of Meadville, died Monday, December 29, 1958 at City Hospital.  She had been in ill health for about a year.

She was born in East Mead Township, November 8, 1872, the daughter of James and Fannie Byham Ewing.  She was married to Arthur C. Ash, who died about a year ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles W. (Ruth) Terrill of Meadville and Mrs. Osborne C. (Dorothy) Carpenter of Meadville; a sister, Adelaide Papenfuse of East Mead Township; a brother, J. Clayton Ewing of Meadville; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Ewing Cemetery, East Mead Township.
