Clara Alberta Stockton

Clara Alberta Stockton, 81, of Meadville, died Sunday, February 4, 1996 at Meadville Medical Center after a one-year illness.

She was born in South Shenango Township, July 20, 1914, a daughter of John W. and Ethel M. Wilson Rumsey.  She married Gerald Stockton in 1959.  He preceded her in death in 1967.

She was employed at Talon, Inc. as a production worker for 46 years before retiring in 1980.  She enjoyed her family, reading and watching television.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Wanda) Loughner of Conneautville; a son, Gene Rumsey of Meadville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Rumsey.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
