Clara Hewitt
December 24, 1888 — January 1, 1753
Mrs. Clara Hewitt, 80, of the Methodist Home, wife of Glenn G. Hewitt, Thursday, August 21, 1969, after a three-week illness.
She was born in Norrisville, December 24, 1888, a daughter of James Alfred and Phoebe Morehouse Doutt. She was married to Glenn Shaw in 1905 and later to Glenn Hewitt in 1945. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, North East.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. H. A. (Mildred) Becker of Mercer; one son, Glenn Shaw, Jr. of Erie; and two grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
