Clara K. Provost

Mrs. Clara K. Provost, 94, died suddenly Tuesday morning, March 15, 1966, at the Methodist Home for the Aged, following a heart attack.  She had been in failing health for some time.

She was born at East Brady, August 28, 1871, a daughter of Matthew and Elizabeth Williams Phillips and lived much of her early life at Reynoldsville.  She and her husband, C. Abram Provost, lived in Philadelphia.  He died in 1929.

Mrs. Provost is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bancroff of Ardmore and Mrs. Clara Worley of Broommall; a son, Robert of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Wells of Reynoldsville and Mrs. Lillian Goss of Etna; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia.
