Clarence J. Daly

Clarence J. Daly, 75, of Meadville, died at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, Sunday, May 27, 1973, after a sudden illness.

Born at Titusville on March 24, 1894, he was a son of John and Mary McCarthy Daly.  He married Vada Cutshall on October 15, 1935.

Mr. Daly retired in 1961 after being employed for 18 years in the engineering department of Talon Division of Textron, Inc.  He formerly was employed by Titusville Trust Co.

He was a member of St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church, West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Department and Meadville Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Mary) Kutulakis of Carlisle and Mrs. Walter (Ellen) Gallagher, Jr. of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Nell Kepner and Mrs. John (Mary) Baine, both of Munhall; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Brigid's Cemetery.
