Clarence H. (Carl) Joslyn

Clarence H. (Carl) Joslyn, 58, well-known Meadville musician and employee of the engineering department at Talon, Inc., died at his home, Sunday, August 22, 1965, after a brief illness.

Mr. Joslyn played in the orchestra at Park Theater before joining Talon.  He was also a member of the George Smith dance band for about 15 years.

Born at Lawrence, MA, January 3, 1907, he was a son of Clarence H. Sr. and Mazie Thyfield Joslyn.  He was married to the former Helen Dunham August 17, 1945.

Mr. Joslyn was a member of Masonic Lodge 234, Meadville Musicians Local 344 and a former member of Talon Management Club.  He belonged to the Congregational Church of Lawrence.

Surviving, in addition to his widow, are a daughter, Miss Penny Joslyn at home, and his father of Swampscott, MA.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
