Cora D. Sackett

Mrs. Cora D. Sackett, 83, widow of Dr. W. E. Sackett, former Saegetown dentist, died suddenly Tuesday evening at her home in Hornell, NY.

Dr. Sackett retired as a dentist about 15 years ago, a few years before he died.  Mrs. Sackett lived in Meadville before moving to Hornell.

While a resident of Meadville, Mrs. Sackett was active in Grace Methodist Church and its various organizations.  In Hornell, she belonged to the Park Methodist Church and its Womens Society of Christian Service.

Surviving are a son, E. E. Sackett of Meadville; two daughters, Mrs. Angie Kramer of Cleveland and Miss Alice Sackett of Hornell; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
