Corey Edward Conrad

Corey Edward Conrad, 34, of Meadville died Monday, December 30, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born July 11, 1979 in Meadville a son of Gary E. and Pennie L. Swavey Conrad.  He married Carey Hazen July 2, 2001 and she survives.

He was a 1998 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and currently was working for Lord Corp. in Cambridge Springs and previously worked at Meadville Forging.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Carey of Meadville; two children, Cameron E. Conrad and Carleigh A. Conrad both at home; his parents, Gary and Pennie Conrad of Meadville; a brother, Chad Conrad and his wife Christi of Apex, NC; a half-sister, Lori Yokeley and her husband Frank of Stokesdale, NC and seven nieces and nephews, Caitlyn, C.J. and Calsey Conrad and Jada, Robert, Michael and Joshua Yokeley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
