Daniel F. Curzi

Daniel F. Curzi, 76 of E. Lackawannock Twp, New Wilmington, passed away on January 13, 2023 at Sharon Regional Hospital. Daniel was born in Butler on March 14, 1946 to the late Anthony and Janice (Fair) Curzi. He was a 1964 graduate of Butler High School, later he attended Thiel College for their Police Training Program. He worked for many years as a School Bus Driver and for various trucking companies.

Daniel was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Sharpsville. He enjoyed music and was a talented accordion player. He was a member of the Country Gentleman Trio. He always enjoyed learning new things, he would read several books and enjoyed studying his bible. He loved being outdoors and riding his motorcycle and gardening. He and his wife together fostered many children and he always enjoyed helping those children.

He married his wife; Paula J. (Weibel) Curzi on August 5, 1995. She survives at home. He is also survived by eight children: Eric (Theresa) Curzi; Dana (Dave) Custer; Sam (Erin) Curzi; Jolene (Jason) Krainbucher; Cliff Curzi; Christopher (Christine) Colvin; Nicole (James) Stevens, and Kathryn Price, numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as his siblings; Barbara (Jerry) Hosetman and David (Della) Curzi.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Simplicity Cremation & Funeral Center, Inc. 200 S. Erie Street, Mercer.

Visitation will take place at the Abundant Life Church, 3050 Saranac Drive, Sharpsville, PA 16150 from 11 am to 12 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12 pm
