David F. Bird, Jr.

David F. Bird, Jr., 66, a resident of Guys Mills for 55 years, a resident of Largo, FL, for three weeks, died suddenly in Largo Sunday, December 21, 1980.

He was born in Ohama, GA, a son of David F. and Kathryne Bunting Bird, Sr.  He married Marybelle Horah.

He was a retired receiving clerk with PPG Industrires, Inc. and a member of United Church of Guys Mills.  He was a graduate of Randolph-East Mead High School and attended Allegheny College for one year.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of Largo, include a son, Lyle of Guys Mills; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Carol) Schiller of Townville and Mrs. Harold (Sharon) Hayes of Meadville; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
