David Ross Luckock

David Ross Luckock, 36, of Conneaut Lake, died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at St. Vincent Health Center following a short-term cancer illness.

He was born in Meadville, August 17, 1969, a son of Edward and Barbara Walther Luckock.

He was a 1987 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and cross-country team.  He attended Grove City College and was employed at the former Luckock Shursave Grocery Store.  He was an avid runner and sports enthusiast, particularly following the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was a volunteer for the Conneaut Lake Historical Society.

He was a member of Fifth Street Presbyterian Church where he was chairman of the newspaper-recycling project.

Survivors include his parents, Edward and Barbara Luckock of Conneaut Lake; two brothers, Raymond Luckock (Dorothy) of Conneautville and Ronald Luckock of Saegertown; two nieces, Melissa and Emily Luckock and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
