Donald C. Devore
October 19, 1943 — November 27, 1988
Donald C. DeVore, 45, of Birmingham, AL, died Sunday, November 27, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center, while visiting family in Meadville.
He was born in Topeka, KA, October 19, 1943, a son of Rodney W. and Ruth (Peggy) McConkey DeVore.
He was employed as a civil engineer by Lehigh Design International. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a 1961 graduate of Meadville Senior High School and an alumnus of Alliance College. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the US Navy Seabees.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise DeVore, and a son, Donald C. DeVore, both of Erie; her parents of Meadville; and a sister, the Rev. Suzanne Bennett of Herminie.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
